Two years ago, the first bottles of an unprecedented vermouth from El Bierzo were introduced under the name of Biermú, in a fine red and white bottle, once again a clever blend of the Chardonnay, Godello and Mencía grape varieties... evoking the barrels and winemaking secrets of the monasteries …

It is a hive of activity at Canedo. It’s what dreams ask for when they are realised and grow …

And the Aguardientes…

Aguaplácida, aguardiente made with orujo (a spirit made from grape pomace) soaked with cherries, sour cherries and herbs from the mountains of El Bierzo.
Aguaclara, aguardiente made with orujo with a hint of barrel.
Aguatope, aguardiente made with orujo aged in oak barrels for 4 years.
Aguamiel, aguardiente made with orujo and honey from El Bierzo.
